Take a 10-minute drive to the hiking start point.

Begin the trek to the summit of Mount Batur (approx. 1.5 – 2 hours).

Reach the summit for the sunrise. Enjoy stunning views of Lake Batur, Mount Agung, and the surrounding volcanic landscape.

Relax, take photos, and enjoy a simple breakfast prepared using volcanic steam (banana or egg). Hot tea or coffee provided.

Begin the descent down the mountain.

Mount Batur, standing at 1717m, is known as the second highest peak on Bali Island. From this volcano, you can also admire Lake Batur, the largest volcanic lake on the island, offering a superb view. The ascent takes approximately 2 hours, allowing you to witness the spectacular sight of the red sky during sunrise and enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the volcano's summit.
The Mount Batur Trekking experience commences with an early morning hotel pickup. You will be transported to the renowned Toya Bungkah village, famous for its volcanic hot springs, to start your climb up the volcano under the twinkling stars in the refreshing morning breeze.
Upon reaching the summit, you will be treated to an awe-inspiring sight – witnessing the sunrise over Bali from above the clouds. The panoramic views are truly breathtaking and mesmerizing.
During your visit, you will savor a simple breakfast while taking in the magnificent scenery from the viewpoint.
